Hello all of you! You may not even remember me- I have been off the charts for a LONG time now. But I miss you guys, I had created some wonderful friendships through DA and HArpg- not to mention I learned quite a bit from observing so much art for so long!  

I just wanted to let you guys all know what the scoop is I suppose. I am now a freshman in college, I go to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and I am majoring in fine art and minoring in illustration. I doubt I will be coming back to HArpg/DA as I am very busy with my school pieces and work and what have you... ART SCHOOL IS SO ROUGH YOU GUYS!!

However, I will probably keep my account around for purposes just like this. Theres no reason to lose touch, even if I haven't talked to a lot of you in close to 2 years! Hey guys! I want to pick your brains for a short moment on a show idea I have

I was talking with a friend earlier about a thing we do at my own stable where I work some horses that includes you, your horse, and some snotty donkeys who are a bit on the chubby side hehe 

There are 2 mini donkeys at our stable who are about as lazy as lazy gets, and the only way we have found that keeps them active enough is if we HERD THEM! We cut them as you would cattle, bareback in our arena. BUT THATS NOT IT- last summer we had made the whole mess into a game! Whoever can make the most "goals" wins the "match", and by goals I mean get the donkey down to the opposite end of the arena and get him to stand inside a square made of cones. And the donkey must stay inside the box for 10 seconds! (easier said than done- all these donkeys want to do is go home and eat.. not play chase!!)  It is the most fun, and exhausting game I've ever played on horse back, we played it nearly every night in the summer!! I promise you its very tiring hauling ass around an arena chasing bratty donkeys!  

SO, my proposal, would anyone be interested in something like this and it being a fun little show hosted by me?

EVERYONE would be welcome, this would not be JUST a western event- even tho the act we are doing is I suppose a western discipline. Any horse or pony can do this, its not a test of who the best reiner is, its who can get the most donkey goals! Just a .fun.informal.show.

Prizes would probably be all the points I have + some headshots? thoughts??

Hey guys!!
School is over in a matter of 2 weeks now, and I really hope to return to the harpg community as soon as I am no longer swamped with exam work and what not (I'm nose deep in school work atm, and Im starting to feel the pressure.. considering my grades are absolute crap)

But I really look forward to talking with you guys again, I've missed you all so much!

Closing show of our production of Thoroughly Modern Millie tonight. It is such a bittersweet feeling. Since December I have been spending up to 6 hours a day (additional to my school day ..hah..) pouring everything into this show, and as silly as it may sound, I pretty much found what I love to do. I have been told by many people I truly should pursue the art of scenic design, and I always kind of jsut laughed it off.. since the instability of the work honestly terrifies me. But I love it to death, spending this much time with my mentor, me now  being called her little prodigy LOL, has been an eye opening experience. Theatre truly fascinates me.

I am not sure what will come of my digital art days, as I have been distracted by so many other things. A good distracted though.. we shall see what life brings down the road! 

I really miss talking to you guys however, you are such a wonderful group of people
